Rice soaked 1Kg
Onions (Thinly sliced) 3-4 Medium sized
Tomatoes 1/2 Kg
Ginger paste 2tbsp
Garlic paste 2tbsp
Ginger Julienne 1 1/2 tbsp
Yogurt (Beaten) 1/2 cups,
Green Chilies (Whole) 6-7
Green Coriander (Chopped) 2tbsp
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Yellow Food Color (Optional) as per required.
Habib Cooking Oil / Banaspati 1 1/4 cups
Habib Biryani Recipe Mix 1 packet
1- Fry onions in oil until golden, add tomatoes and fry until oil separates.
2- Add meat, garlic, ginger, potato, yogurt, and Habib Biryani Masala - fry for 15 mins. Add 1-2 cup water and cook on low heat till meat tender. Then increase heat and cook until oil separates from gravy.
3- Separately: in 12 glasses of hot water add 3tbsp salt and the soaked rice. Boil until rice is more than half cooked. Remove from heat and drain water.
4- Spread the cooked meat and curry over the rice in 2 layers. Cover the pot and cook on low heat until rice is fully cooked and tender, mix before serving.
